Birjapura campus

Sri Sathya Sai Premaniketanam

(Vijayapura/ Bijapur)

Vijayapura is a district of historical importance built during the rule of Adil Shah Dynasty. The most popular monument, Gol Gumbaz at Bijapur is the largest dome ever built in India. On September 28, 2014 groundbreaking ceremony for the new Campus, Sri Sathya Sai Premaniketanam was arranged on a 54 acres land at Anjutagi village and the School started its operations from June 2015. The architecture of the Campus has been devised to resemble the Gol Gumbaz, the famous tomb at Bijapur. The central prayer hall is a circular building supported by pillars which are equidistantly 100 feet from each other. A vast playground of 10 acres is agape for the students to embark on their physical recreation.

“Sri Sathya Sai Education model is a paragon of perfect education. The students admitted into the Campus are from rural backgrounds and offering them a world of new facilities and opportunities and grooming them into wholesome individuals, is our aspiration. Their malleability makes it easier for us to mould them. Fresh in their minds and pure in their hearts, these children understand the value of the education we impart. Their high energy levels and enthusiasm are directed in the right course of academics, extra-curricular activities and spiritual activities. A unified synthesis of the body, mind and soul renders the children brim-full with positivity, so much so, that the resultant effect permeates to everybody they come in touch with. Their companions, parents and society at large are transformed just by seeing them, being with them and talking to them. A chain reaction of goodness begins with the students of our Institution!

Having been associated with an Institution from its genesis, my journey on this path has been a mix of untoward challenges, wise learnings, constant proactiveness and a spiritually evolving trek towards the pinnacle of absolute selflessness. Welfare of the Institution and that of the students are my only goal!

Our dedicated band of teachers play a pivotal role in this journey. We are one family and to be a part of the Educare mission of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is our highest reward”.

As a Captain is to a ship so is a Chairman to an Institution!

Why I like my School best?

“I hail from Vijayapura. My father does agriculture. He came to know about Sri Sathya Sai Premaniketanam School through our neighbours and enrolled me into this School. I was introduced to a whole new world here. The early morning prayers, veda chanting, bhajans, yoga along with games and studies, fascinated me a lot. I did not get even a half of what I get here, before. In this School, teachers live with us and guide us at every step. I often see them waking up earlier than us in the morning and going to bed much later than us, once they ensure that all our needs are taken care of. This makes me feel that they are like my own parents. I am learning Karate in the School. During the Annual Sports and Cultural Meet, I see my senior brothers performing Bike stunts and Horse riding. I want to learn all those too. I am excited! I want everyone to benefit like me from this School.”

Proud to be part of a noble purpose!

“I joined Sri Sathya Sai Premaniketanam in June 2017. This School provides a spiritually charged environment, which positively impacts the students, teachers and for that matter, anybody who comes in contact with this place. Students are taught that the education they receive, is not just for eking out a living, but for a greater purpose and that is, their responsibility towards serving the society. Students are trained here for this ultimate goal of selfless service to society. I feel a great sense of joy to facilitate this purpose. Tomorrow, if one of my students is a reason for transforming the life of a group in society, I am the proudest teacher!”
